Moorvale does not have any paid officers and relies on volunteers to bring its services to members and the local community.  We are a small, friendly organisation and will always welcome extra help whether it be an hour a week at a collection point or serving on the Board of directors.  What services might I offer? We need people to work at collection points.  The commitment will be for an hour or so each week and involves collecting and recording payments (savings and loan repayments) and first-line liaison with our members.  At first you will work with an experienced officer who will show you how to fill in the passbooks and forms.  This is perhaps the best way to start to become familiar with Moorvale's work. Office Work   You might help to staff the office.  Duties might include printing and posting statements, entering details into the computer system, answering the telephone, even just sticking labels on leaflets. Again you would work with  experienced officers to start and this would help you to become familiar with Moorvale's range of activities .  Time commitment is flexible.  Board We need experienced people to bring their expertise to Moorvale, helping the Board to formulate and implement policies to help our members with managing their finances.
